Set up and track conversion goals to measure the success of your funnels.

Defining Conversion Goals

A conversion goal is the primary action you want visitors to take:

  • Form Submission - Lead capture
  • Purchase - Complete checkout
  • Registration - Create account
  • Download - Get lead magnet
  • Page View - View specific page (thank you page)

Setting Up Goals

  1. Navigate to Analytics → Goals
  2. Click "Create New Goal"
  3. Select goal type
  4. Configure trigger conditions
  5. Assign a value (for revenue tracking)
  6. Save and activate

Tracking Codes

Add tracking codes to measure external campaigns:

  • UTM Parameters - Track campaign source and medium
  • Conversion Pixels - Facebook, Google Ads, TikTok
  • Event Tracking - Custom event names

Conversion Reports

View detailed conversion data:

  • Conversion rate by traffic source
  • Conversion funnel visualization
  • Time to conversion
  • Device breakdown (mobile vs desktop)

🎯 Tracking Tip

Always verify your tracking is working correctly by completing a test conversion yourself. Check that the data appears in your analytics dashboard!
